Venue
Our wedding will take place in beautiful Dignita Hoftuin (map). You can get in using one of the two entrances: via Weesperstraat or Nieuwe Herengracht.
We'll be waiting for you there for the ceremony, drinks and cheers. Later on we'll move to Dignita Hoftuin restaurant for the dinner and party.

Schedule
Dress code
Please use the occasion to dress up, but no need to overdo it. We want you to feel comfortable in what you're wearing. Consider cocktail, semi-formal or dressy casual style.

Don't forget your sunglasses and SPF cream - what if the weather is nice?
2nd day
Hooray, here comes the 2nd day!
Sun, 13 Aug 2023, 14:00
We gather near Amsterdam Centraal, Stationsplein 40 (map for the exact location) and go on 3-hour long Amsterdam canal boat trip! Food, drinks, beautiful views, awesome company... just like yesterday but on a boat and no dress code. Chillax.
Gifts
We are so grateful for your presence at our wedding, and we understand that travel and accommodations can be a big expense. The opportunity to share this moment with you is the best gift for us.
However, if you do feel inclined to give a gift, we will appreciate a small contribution to our honeymoon fund.
Please don't bring flowers - they will feel lonely waiting for us back from the honeymoon.
Transport
For taxi service we recommend Bolt and/or Uber. In public transport (train, tram, tube, bus) you can just use your credit/debit card to check-in and (don't forget to!) check-out. Works with Apple Pay and Google Pay. In tram or bus you can also buy a ticket inside. You can trust Google Maps for the public transport schedule and route.
Where to stay
- Aadam Hotel Wilhelmina - relatively cheap, no elevator, Dutch style stairs
- WestCord Fashion Hotel
- XO Hotels Couture
- Conscious Hotel Amsterdam City (The Tire Station)- organic, sustainable, close to our home
But this is sure not a complete list of good places to stay. Feel free to find what suits best for you on Booking or Airbnb.
- Crane Hotel Faralda - 5 star hotel on a crane; a bit further away from the city
- Train Lodge Amsterdam - hostel in a railway carriage
Avoid hotels in the Red Light District (De Wallen). They may be cheaper but atmosphere around is not that great: noisy and dirty.
It's OK to stay in Amsterdam Noord. There is a free ferry every ~5 minutes over the IJ canal, 2 minutes trip; or 1 metro station.
